Mercedes overhauled Ferrari at the top of the timesheet in Friday’s afternoon session thanks to Valtteri Bottas who pipped Sebastian Vettel by just 0.027 seconds.
Mercedes concluded the first day of practice for the Chinese GP at the top of the timesheet, with Valtteri Bottas clocking in with the fastest lap in FP2.
